If you are a serious blogger, then the reason you started your blog was that you felt you had something to say and wanted other people to read it.

In a crowded blogosphere, however, bringing readers to your site requires huge commitment and time - more than most can devote to the task. As a result, most blogs - even when they no have something interesting and original to say, go unread by all but a handful of people.

That is where we come in.

If you feel you have a blog that has something to say, and you do have something original or interesting to put over, then we will help promote your blog.

This is a genuine offer. There are no strings attached and no hidden agenda - no contract to sign and no commitment to stay on board once you have joined. You can leave at any time.

What does it involve?

We will look at your blog to see if it does offer the reader a perspective worth reading - or has potential. If we agree to accept you, we will need administrative access to your blog to undergo an "upgrade" to bring it into line with the "family" image.

This involves designing and placing an attactive new banner for you, about which we will consult, and only place it when you are entirely happy with it... But, see also here. We may make some technical changes to improve, if necessary, the functionality of your blog, and we will place the "Umbrella Blog" logo in a prominent position on your sidebar.

The content of your blog, links, any adverts and other material, are completely unaffected and there is no downtime.

What then?

Once you are up and running, whenever you post a piece, you send us an e-mail with a link and we will place a notification on our "front page", with your own unique logo panel (which will match your banner), and a clickable link to the piece.
